Things to do
This has been split into four section. In general urgent means ASAP but during the Summer it means this needs to be done by the end of the Summer.
Important and Urgent
- Transactionaliseinate the database -versus- ldap calls
- May need to adjust nagios settings 'internet' so it is less likely to accidentally spam everyone
- In particular be relax ping time and packet loss parameters.
- Ban user implementation needs finishing
- In particular ldap support
- Node owners help page
- Validate that the 'Upstream Bandwidth' is greater than the 'Upstream Limit'
Important but Not Urgent
- Make e-mail addresses on the ban users / home users screen more obvious.
- Fix broken links on the wiki

- Sort out communication between nagios and sown-bot so it displays all the messages to the channel
- Add 'publish' field to node_deployments/node table to indicate whether the node should be monitored by Nagios and displayed on the web site
- Check accessibility of web site
- Improve accessibility of web site and wiki skin so that content appears before menus
- useradmin_users.php need to be implemented
- Add a way of editing the URL for a node_deployment on sownadmin_nodes.php and useradmin_nodes.php
- Document node bandwidth limit settings (unit & behaviour)

Not Important and Not Urgent
- Multicast/Broadcast version of updateNode.
- to include a 'list-associated-stations' command.
- IPv6-over-sown-node, for owners of home-nodes.
Things done (Summer 2008 onwards)
- Sort out website SVN (Done on 02/07/2008 by crwilliams)
- Authentication for devices without web interface (Done on ??/07/2008 by SjH)
- Fixed login page so users don't get error messages / double headed page. (Done up to 17/07/2008 by crwilliams, SjH, daveruss)
- Moved freeradius passwd and shadow files (all @sown.org.uk authentication is now via ldap)
- Allow LDAP users to change their passwords
- Update admin interface to use new 'node_deployments' table (Done on 08/09/2008 by daveruss)
- Add user needs ldap support.
- Fix portal http://http:// problem. Done week beginning 13/10/2008 by SjH)
- Add inventory_id to nodes table and then populate the inventory_ids by hand (defunked by daveruss)
- Added user customizable firewall to useradmin_nodes via admin. (DONE - Davetaz 30/10/2008)
